Interim Management | Duration: 7 months
Scope: Taking over a large team managing infrastructure projects for a federal agency
Mission Description: A major Romandie public agency faced a vacancy in the director position, overseeing multiple domains and dozens of building infrastructure improvement projects on short, medium, and long-term horizons. The challenges were numerous and extended beyond technical aspects, requiring strong project leadership through delegated management of a sizable team, as well as stakeholder management across departments, including municipalities and cantons.
The NIMSwitzerland’s Solution: Three managers meeting these criteria and immediately available were proposed. The client identified one candidate’s prior experience with the Swiss Federal Railways (CFF) as highly relevant to their context. He was quickly selected and put in place.
Result: Continuity of leadership was ensured, with strengthened team engagement thanks to the cultural and technical fit of the manager, contributing to the success of his integration.
